The Indie Rock Coloring Book
The Indie Rock Coloring Book was published by Chronicle Books in 2009. All royalties from the book go to charity, through the non-profit The Yellow Bird Project.
The concept of this book originated from my final project in college. When Pitchfork covered the story, The Yellow Bird Project contacted me and we started to make my college project turn into a reality.
The book contains conceptual coloring pages dedicated to various Indie bands, including Broken Social Scene, Bon Iver, MGMT, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and The Shins.
The follow up to this book, The Indie Rock Poster Book, was published in 2011.

"I knew I'd found the perfect gift idea ... and, of course, I'd need a copy for myself."

"...my personal favourite, colour-in the picture "that proves that the water supply was enchanted in the Wisconsin cabin where the [Bon Iver] album For Emma, Forever Ago, was written." Maximum twee points there..."
"Kids today might have the internet and Pixar, but they're forced to live in a world without "Thundercats" or "Silverhawks" or "Defenders of the Earth". What are kids supposed to color in pictures of these days? Dora the Explorer? Please.
Fortunately, we have Andy J. Miller."
